PHILO. PRINCE OF ORANGE
[ PHILODENDRON ‘PRINCE OF ORANGE’ ]
What a stunner! A unique plant that changes colour over time. New growth starts a starburst glossy bright orange which will then transition to copper and salmon tones and then ultimately maturing into darker shades of green. Prince of Orange is self-heading rather than vining meaning the large leaves grow from a centre base creating a beautiful rosette of foliage. Older leaves fall off, making way for new growth! A special plant but an easy care plant – ideal hey!
- Bright, indirect sunlight – a spot near a window would be great without your plant receiving scorching rays. This will help keep good colouration.
- Well drained compost – do not over water!
- A degree of humidity is best for your Philo and best to dust it’s leaves with a damp cloth regularly.
A collectors plant that will bring joy, interest and colour to your home or office!
