Anthurium Pink – Flamingo Lily
Bring a touch of the tropics into your home with this beautiful Anthurium, commonly known as the Flamingo Lily. Renowned for its striking pink, waxy spathes and glossy, heart-shaped foliage, this elegant houseplant adds a vibrant splash of colour to any indoor space. Anthuriums are one of the longest-flowering houseplants available, capable of producing blooms throughout much of the year when given the right care.
This easy-care tropical plant thrives in warm, humid environments and is well suited to living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms and offices. Its compact, upright growth habit makes it an excellent choice for tabletops, shelves and windowsills with bright, indirect light.
Supplied as a single plant with a 17cm root ball, ready to be potted into your chosen decorative container.
Plant Care
- Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- Water regularly, allowing the top few centimetres of compost to dry out between waterings. Do not allow the plant to sit in standing water.
- Prefers higher humidity – mist the leaves regularly or place on a pebble tray filled with water.
- Maintain a temperature between 18°C and 25°C. Avoid cold draughts and temperatures below 15°C.
- Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser every two to four weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
- Wipe leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep foliage glossy.
