Philodendron erubescens ‘Strawberry Shake’

This beautiful houseplant is a rare mutation of Philodendron ‘Red Emerald’, a species native to the tropical rainforests of South America.

* A highly sought after, rare vining indoor plant that brings you such interesting variegated foliage. Each plant has such drastic shifts in colour, an evolving colour palette where new leaves emerge as deep red before turning into another colour.

* Each leaf unveils unique marbling. Yellow and cream against rich green and strawberry pink tones against such bright red stems. A really beautiful plant!

– Plenty of light! Bright indirect light, not south facing scorching sun rays.

– Moderate to high humidity.

– A vining plant so it will want a structure or pole to climb onto.

– Your Philodendron requires a well draining and aerated potting mix.

– Propagated by stem cuttings.

– Chimeral variegation.

– Considered toxic to pets.
